The next move was to Cartagena de India, we took the bus from Santa Marta & were pleasantly surprised at what we found. Cartagena’s colonial walled city is a UNESCO World Herritage Site, very picturesque, beautiful buildings and sleepy city scenes…

Platypus babies are often refered to as puggles.
However, ‘Puggles’ is in fact the generic term for all baby monotremes, (including those in the platypus family) as no official baby name exists for them…
Monotremes are wierd… but I like them…

(easier than saying; Aaaaah… look at the little cute baby egg-laying, venomous, duck-billed, beaver-tailed, otter-footed mammal)

Hamble ‘the bramble’ Cat, had a bit of an adventure the other morning – Felicia went downstairs to find our living room littered with feathers & Hamble looking very proud of herself… the small wren lying cold & lifeless at her feet, looked untouched (I don’t know where all the feathers came from), & I could only wonder how such fragile creatures can even exist… Hamble is now disgruntled & looking rather pissed at the fact that she now has two bells on her pink/military-camo collar. Apparently cats are one of the few animals that kill for fun… but mine can also look so very cute…
